Claude

Claude is an AI model developed by Anthropic, a research company focused on building AI systems that are safe, steerable, and helpful. Claude is designed to assist with a broad range of tasks — writing, research, analysis, coding, and general conversation — through natural language interaction. Not sure why but Ive always kept Claude as a go to for technical questions when all else fails. As AI goes claude is solid and it does consistenly come at problems differently the other large commercial model families.

Claude has a range of model tiers, balancing capability, speed, and cost for different use cases, and makes Claude available through a chat interface, an API for developers. Thats enough advertising claude except to say it is my chosen pairing for this part of my project. As I have found with GPT, it is good strategy not to mix and match, so everything in this vault- Quartz and Obsidian and markdown publishing is assisted on a technical level Claude as the sole cloud model alongside local models covering any retrieval augmented generation (RAG) tasking.

Relevance

In this vault, Claude instructed how me to create this technical publishing pipeline, and helped me unravel the how, when and why of the Cloudflare Pages deployment settings. I could have used GPT but it was an ideal time to try something different. There is a definite difference between Claude and GPT but I cant put a finger on what it is, Claude seems less of a smartass perhaps.
